The Village of Aberdeen is located on the Ohio Scenic River in Brown County, Ohio. The Village sits on US Hwy 52, 64 miles east of  Cincinnati, Ohio and 52 Miles west of Portsmouth, Ohio. The Aberdeen Police Department serves 1,603 residences according to the 2000 census and we are the fourth largest agency in the county. The agency provides 24 hour protection to its citizens, businesses and visitors .
 
Aberdeen, Ohio was founded in 1816 and is connected to the City of Maysville, Kentucky population 7,323 by two bridges the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge which connects to downtown Maysville and the William B. Harsha Bridge which connects to the US Hwy 68 Bypass.
